Coeur d’Alene Set Free, Day 1: I had thought that this day would be Coeur d’Alene Held Hostage, Day 75 — that we would be headed for a recall election in August or November. But the failure of the Souza-Orzell-Sims Recallers to obtain the necessary 4311 signatures for a recall election has set the community free. Frank Orzell has said he has no plans for a lawsuit. I hope that’s true. I joked with Mayor Bloem along the way that the recall attempt was terrific for blog traffic. But not for the community. We still have Judge John Luster’s decision on the SR’s motion to quash Tina Jacobson’s subpoena seeking to out three HucksOnline commenters. And then the general election beyond. So it’s not as though we’re without material. So, onward. Here’s your first Wild Card for the rest of our lives in Coeur d’Alene …
