Send ‘Em To The Sheriff

One Kootenai County department head sent around the following memo to his staff: “Apparently the hydro-plane races are coming to Kootenai County!!  If you receive any calls or questions regarding this race, everyone needs to be aware of the following:

• The County had determined the hydro-plane race to be EXEMPT from any land use approvals; and,
• The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office HAS issued a PERMIT APPROVAL for the event; and,
• Questions regarding this event (scope of the event -and/or- permit conditions etc.) should be directed to the Sheriff’s Office at (208) 446-1300 .

Question: So this hydroplane race is a done deal?
