Good law for lawbreakers
I agree with Shawn Vestal (June 22) about the new liquor sales law. When people had to go out of their way to purchase liquor in a liquor store and be served over a counter, shoplifting could be kept at a minimum. Now, alcoholics and minors can shoplift, and the resulting losses by the retailers will result in higher prices, not only on liquor but on foods as well.
Talk about unintended consequences! This is a bad law.
