Honor System? Legislators? Ahaha

To cover the cost of living in Boise, Idahoans provide their legislators with a $122 daily per diem payment. (Those living in Boise get $49). But two Canyon County lawmakers who live within a commuting distance of the Capitol - Sen. Curt McKenzie, R-Nampa, and former Sen. John McGee, R-Caldwell - pocketed the extra cash by camping out in Boise. McKenzie slept on his Boise office couch; McGee stayed at his parents’ home. Honor system?
