Harrumph! Recall City Council!

Grumpy Bill at OpenCdA.com is trying to rally his troops — all five of them — to stage a recall election against Mayor Sandi Bloem and three members of the Coeur d’Alene City Council who favor moving ahead with the long-planned McEuen Field project — Mike Kennedy, Deanna Goodlander and Woody McEvers. Bill was inspired by a recent letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press editor Jim Doty. Wonders Bill: “What do you think?  Should the residents of Coeur d’Alene consider recalling those named officials?  Idaho law does not prescribe any particular justification necessary to recall one or more public officials, so what would you consider to be sufficient justification to recall them?” (AP file photo for illustrative purposes)
