Huckabee criticized President Barack Obama and Democratic lawmakers, saying the government needs to return to the Golden Rule. He emphasized the need for smaller government, lower taxes and personal responsibility. “We want the opportunity to make our own decisions about our lives and our families. We do not need someone to dictate those decisions for us,” Huckabee said. He specifically pointed to Obama’s health reforms and the Dodd-Frank bank reforms as examples of government overreach/ Idaho Press-Tribune . More here.
