OTV: Mik’s Doesn’t Put Up w/Rowdies

OrangeTV, who bartends at Mik’s on 4th/downtown Coeur d’Alene writes of his bar that is isn’t “exactly quiet, per se, but our clientele is known for it’s good behavior and we don’t allow any kind of riff-raff to take off if we can help it. A lot of the people that go out downtown regularly have developed a lot of respect for the owner during the 15 years she’s run the place because she is a great, bubbly, and likeable personality. At the same time she’s also known for running a pretty tight ship and people know her limits. Typically, if someone starts a fight in our bar or does something rotten, she makes it quite clear they are out of bounds and are not welcome back. It happens very rarely, but does once in while when newbys or fresh 21 yo’s come in. Our regulars and clientele just aren’t the fighting types i guess, and we like it that way.”

Question: Where would you go in Kootenai County/North Idaho if you wanted a drink in a bar with a good vibe and no rowdies?
