Wild Card/Thursday — 3.8.12

Twenty-four hours from now, we’ll know what the full dance card for the local 2012 primary elections this spring. I’m expecting a few surprises. There’s still a fourth Republican candidate who indicated early on that he’d run for sheriff. I’d love to see a Republican challenge His Nonininess for the Post Falls Senate seat. Could use a Democrat in the sheriff’s race in case uber-Right John Green squeezes out a GOPrimary win. Larry Spencer’s decision to run for Kootenai County commissioner, of course, will keep the turnstiles whirring here. Things are shaping up for a fun time over the next two-plus months. Now to re-post the Wild Card …
