Shock get back to football
It’s been an interesting 2-3 days in the AFL, to say the least, culminating in a wild Friday that saw owners fire players, the AFL players union declare a strike on twitter and then call off the strike roughly 6 1/2 hours later.
“It was just unfolding almost electronically and really nobody knew what all was happening,” Shock majority owner Brady Nelson said.
For now, the players are playing and the work stoppage is over. I put together a story on today’s events here and Jessica Brown has look at defensive back Travis Williams , who is back for his second stint with the Shock. Both articles will run in Sunday’s S-R.
