I hope some of the people that live where this all went down got some sleep. This is my neighborhood - I live about a block away. The place was lit up this morning when I drove by at 6am. There were 3 or 4 news vans
there with their antennas raised and spotlights illuminating their on-scene reporters. They’d been on the scene since just before 5am. Multiple police cars were there with their flashers going - those lights had been on since the original incident around 2:30 - and more officers showed up as time passed by. And if the light didn’t wake them, the noise did. We’re a quiet neighborhood. Garage sales are usually the most excitement we ever see. And there are a lot of kids around. Waking up to the sound of sirens close by, vehicular impact, and a gunshot? Try going to sleep after that.
