Verizon Foundation provides $30,000 to help teachers prevent cyber-bullying
Over the past year the Verizon Foundation has provided about $1 million in grants to about 250 groups and statewide programs.
Among the recipients is Web Wise Kids, based in Spokane. It’s received $30,000 to train educators throughout Eastern Washington to help students prevent cyber-bullying and sexting
