Huckleberries Hears …

… The Congressman Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, is the only confirmed elected Idaho GOP heavyweight attending the fractured Lincoln Day GOP Dinner fundraiser Saturday, featuring controversial speaker Richard Mack. According to unofficial sources, Huckleberries hears the following will be no-shows: U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo, U.S. Sen. Jim Risch, Gov. Butch Otter, Lt. Gov. Brad Little, Superintendent of Schools Tom Luna and Donna Jones. Among the questionables are: Attorney General Lawrence Wasden, Secretary of State Ben Ysursa and Treasurer Ron Crain. Huckleberries encountered a top GOP supporter in Ironwood Square/CdA Sunday who said that he wouldn’t attend the on-again-off-again fundraiser this year in protest of the speaker the executive committee of the Kootenai County GOP Central Committee chose after the full Central Committee voted 31-30 against allowing Mack to speak.

Question: Would you think more/less of top elected GOP officials if they attended the county’s Lincoln Day Dinner?
