Occupy Boise Marks May Day

Occupy Boise is expected to join likeminded protesters from around the country in organizing May Day rallies and events to honor the working class. Organizers are encouraging the supporters to skip out on work, class and other obligations Tuesday to show solidarity with laborers and draw lawmakers’ attention to the economic inequities central to the Occupy movement. May Day events in Boise include a keynote speech on the courthouse steps, a rally at the Anne Frank Memorial and a march to Capitol Park.
