All about fire

The Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency and the Spokane Valley Fire Department are teaming up to offer a free “Burn Dry Firewood” event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Valley Fire Station 1, 10319 E. Sprague. There will be demonstrations on building a better fire, firewood splitting and building a wood shed. There will be activities for kids and free hot dogs (while supplies last). Kids (and kids at heart) will also be able to check out a fire truck up close. Reporter Mike Prager has more details here .
