Coeur d’Alene SB Declares Vacancy
At last night’s school board meeting, the Coeur d’Alene School District Board of Trustees declared a vacancy for the trustee position Zone 4 and outlined the process by which the Board will appoint a person to serve the remainder of the current term through June 2013. Diane Zipperer’s resignation last week, triggered the vacancy and appointment process. The Board of Trustees asks any eligible community member interested in applying for the trustee position to submit an application by Wednesday, May 16, at 5 p.m. to the Clerk of the Board, Lynn Towne at 311 N. 10th Street, Coeur d’Alene. Board member eligibility requires the candidate be a registered voter in the school district with residency in the zone that he or she represents. More below.
Question: Should anyone who isn’t politically aligned with Tom Hamilton, Terri Seymour and appointee James Purtee bother applying?
