Postcards Target Anti-Recall Biz

Bitter rivalry between recall supporters and opponents took an antagonistic turn this week in Coeur d’Alene. Several downtown business owners who oppose the recall effort and display signs in their store windows urging shoppers to do the same, received anonymous postcards ridiculing them for supporting the elected officials targeted in the recall petitions. The postcards accuse the store owners of having “utter disdain for democracy, and the validity of others’ opinions” because they do not support the recall effort/Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.
