DOTC: ‘Hit’ Mailings Becoming Passe
Dan Of The Community:
I wondered if there would be any last minute “hit” mailings. Then I realized I’ve been seeing them for some time but have gotten numb to many of the attack words because they are so overused.
Although there was one today that was so over-the-top in it’s language and graphic “arts” that it caught my eye against Ed Morse and sponsored by friends of Phil Hart, the “Grassroots Liberty Coalition, Kirby Gilge, Treasurer.” Wow. This was in the spirit of the classic “send it out the Saturday before the election so they don’t have time to respond” tradition. And you wonder why people tell me and other candidates that we are crazy to be a candidate in this day and age. I also got the latest “informational mailing” from Spencer that discussed many topics dear to his heart. If you are tuning in, Spencer, I did have a question about your list of recommended candidates. It included Steve Vick and Vito Barbieri but not Phil Hart in District 2. Just wondering if that was an oversight or a statement?
Question: Do you receive any attack flyers in the mail this weekend?
