Election Day Thread — 5.15.12
Let’s use this post for our Election Day thread. Feel free to post any info about the election that you see while voting or out & about today.
- 11:59 a.m. Post Falls Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson reports she was voter 33 at Precinct 24.
- 11:43 a.m. Taryn Hecker: “I was voter number 20 in Twin Lakes around 9:15. No circus tents, no sign wavers.”
- 9:41 a.m. There was a man there standing under a tent on (Woodland Middle School) property at a Recall CDA booth, but I noticed him talking with voters as he was walking toward the school. I sure hope he wasn’t electioneering because he was clearly within 100 feet of the school as he was walking into the building with these voters.
- 9:22 a.m. Sample ballots provided by the clerk’s office are already gone at the Post Falls Senior Center polling place — and people are big-time upset that they have to register to vote Republican.
- 9:13 a.m. Sheriff’s candidate Keith Hutcheson and his wife, with signs, are manning two of the four corners of the busy H95 & Appleway intersection at the moment. Supporters for the state Senate candidacy of Mike Jorgenson are holding down the other two corners. Jorgenson supporters are also at various H95 intersections including Prairie & Hayden — & at Govt Way & Hayden.
