Voters Angry At Party Declaration

I just returned from voting at Precinct No. 52 (Assemly of God Church on 7th Street). I was voter No. 30 at 12:45 p.m. I selected a Republican ballot. I also had to show identification for the first time. I left 4 races blank — those for John Goedde and Kathy Sims who were running unopposed in District 4 and two for federal judges. Only 2 voters — the first 2 — had asked for a Democrat ballot. Two individuals were so upset that they had to declare a party affiliation that they left without voting. Poll workers told me that a number of others also were upset that they had to declare a party affiliation — and that the presidential race wasn’t on the ballot. People were angry that state Republicans have replaced the presidential primary with a caucus. No Recallers were set up at the Assembly of God precinct. But I saw a male Recaller set up outside the Army-Navy Store and a female outside the 7th Day Adventist Church.
