Kerri Faces Dunk Tank Tonight

Kerri Thoreson emails: The celebration of my 60th year continues tonight with something I’ve never done before … be the dunkee in a dunk tank! Suzanna Thompson Spencer of INB assures me the water is warm and that there will be EMTs with defibrillators in close proximity. :) 5-6:30 tonight at INB in Post Falls (across from Seright’s Ace Hardware on Seltice) for the Post Falls Chamber’s Business After Hours. All proceed…s from the dunk tank will go to the River City Leadership Academy scholarship fund. Food, beverage and fun! Some fellow RCLA-ers going into the tank will be Pam Houser, Alan Wolfe, Jame’ Lou Davis, Capt. Pat Knight and more. Alan is so sure he won’t get dunked he’s wearing a suit. Me? I’ll be wearing sequins and rhinestones.

DFO : I once served as a dunkee in a dank tank at a county fair — 40 years ago in Red Bluff, Calif. My eardrums popped so much from going under water that I had a terrible headache afterward. Won’t do it again.
