We had news for you yesterday, both on the blog and in the newspaper , about WSU’s season-opener at BYU being moved to Thursday, Aug. 30. Bud Withers of the Seattle Times also has some thoughts , as does CougCenter . As Withers notes, WSU will satisfy two of the Pac-12’s eight required Thursday/Friday games for the 2012 season. Here’s some perspective from the BYU side. … In basketball news, WSU officially announced the signing of Australian center James Hunter, who spent the last two seasons at Gillette College in Wyoming. … Howie Stalwick notes in this story that C.J.
