Lose A Parking Lot, Put Up A Paradise
I (JohnA) heard Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ last night and woke up with it ringing in my head. With apologies to Ms. Mitchell maybe someone could cover this version:
They will lose a parking lot
And put up a paradise.
With a nice promenade,
and a swimming hot spot.
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s nice.
They will lose a parking lot
And put up a paradise.
They’ll add a bunch of trees
And put them near a cool museum.
And they’ll charge all the people
Nothin’ at all just to see ‘em.
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s nice.
They will lose a parking lot
And put up a paradise.
