CSD Responds To Recaller Activity

Coeur d’Alene School District spokeswoman Laura Rumpler sent the following to HucksOnline after this blog emailed her re: possible complaints about Recallers using school property for signature gathering: “Multiple members of the school district Administrative team received citizen complaints that Recall CDA petitioners had set up signature gathering tents and tables at LCHS.  No one from the Recall CDA organization had reached out to school district administration regarding using district property (we have a school board policy 910 regarding the rental and use of school district property).  I did the rounds of our schools late Saturday afternoon and found no petitioners on school district property.  I did the same on Sunday morning — again no one on school district property.  Mid-day on Sunday I began receiving complaints again that folks were at LCHS.  I also received a phone call from the CDA Police department that they had received complaints as well.” More here.
