Johnson: Put Kramer In Hall Of Fame
Forty-three years ago this past Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers
issued a terse statement
that began with
these words: “Guard and author Jerry Kramer announces his retirement after an 11-year career that stretches back to 1958.” Kramer, just 33 years old, had
compiled an outstanding career
in his slightly more than a decade on some of the most storied professional football teams in the history of the National Football League. Of course, he’s in the
Green Bay Hall of Fame
. Kramer was also a perennial All-Pro and Pro-Bowl selection, won the 1962 NFL title game by kicking a field goal, and greased the skids on the famous Packer sweep with the kind of speed and agility – Kramer played at 245 pounds – that is rarely matched by any offensive lineman, then or now/

Question: Do you think former Sandpoint Bulldog/Idaho Vandal Jerry Kramer should be in the NFL Hall of Fame?
