JBelle: What You Get At Bent’s BBQ
JBelle:
The buns are baked daily in the ovens if Capones; the meat is all local; the chili is made by hand, not
in huge vats with cans full of preservatives thrown in. Nor does any of the food have the preservatives in it you will consume at other BBQ restaurants. This food is not loaded with transfat nor will give you stomach ache. I guess, if you were wanting to market it, you could call it artisanal. (snickering now) I’m starting to take people over there and the reaction is 5*. To be honest, I’ve had many business lunches and dinners at the resort and at HH products that were very disappointing. For less than those prices you get superb food in a very charming locale. The only thing Bents BBQ lacks is a front row view of Lac Coeur d’Alene. well that and ice cold beer.
Question: My only complaint about Bent’s BBQ is that my future son-in-law ate his half chicken & half my pulled-pork sandwich, too. How about you?
