Vestal hits right notes

I really appreciate Shawn Vestal’s consistent standing up for the underdog and for those with a weak voice in our community, as in the Oct. 27 column about the public silence on poverty. I also applaud his recent support of the underpaid and poorly treated musicians of the Spokane Symphony. Keep it up, Shawn; I wish more were like you.

And while I’m at it, cheers to Doug Clark for being Doug.
