Love expanded recycling

I read Mike Davis’ rant (Nov. 5) about our new blue recycling bins and simply had to respond. I, too, have always recycled. But this new process has been fantastic. There is so much more that we can recycle now, and I don’t have to organize it.

We have hardly any garbage, and find it hard to fill the smallest brown trash container. I keep the cart just inside our garage and a small bin in the kitchen pantry. I find that each day I must unload that bin. I just love placing junk mail and political fliers straight in the bin.

Cheers to the new normal!
