On her Facebook wall, Kerri Thoreson reports the eagles have landed:
“The eagles have landed! Took a little look-see out at Higgins Point when I got off the air this morning and in about 20 minutes saw at least 12-14 eagles. Their migration each year begins in late November so these early birds are probably the scouting party. The Kokanee salmon are visible not far from the shoreline in full spawn mode. By the end of December there will likely be 100 or more eagles at Higgins. Let the eagle watching begin!”
