Swimming In October? Believe It!

On her Facebook wall, Kerri Thoreson posts: ” I vowed to take a swim on the first day of October and no surprise the Spokane River at Q’emiln Park was quite refreshing. Later this week the overnight temperatures are going to be near the freezing mark so it won’t take long for the river and lake to cool down quickly. Sigh. *for those of you skeptics I’m holding (Monday’s) edition of the Coeur d’Alene Press in this photo.”
