Officers Named In CdA Shooting

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department has named the four Coeur d’Alene police officers involved in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old Hayden man at Higgens Point Saturday. Officers involved in the shooting of Christian Buquet are:

• Mario Rios
• Eric Johnson
• Bryan Alexander
• Brady Reed

Buquet was killed in a shootout involving the four officers after he had shot Frank James, 30, of Coeur d’Alene in the chest shortly before, at 11th & Lakeside in Coeur d’Alene. James is in stable condition at Kootenai Medical Center.
