Cis: Et Tu, Heater?

Also via Facebook today, Cis Gors posts: “WHAT IS THAT HORRIBLE SOUND I HEAR ???? OH, NO… IT IS THE HEATER COMING ON … even the dog and cat ran when it came on. lol.” Why did this strike me as funny? The same thing happened to me this morning. For the first time, the upstairs bathroom heater went on by itself this morning.

Question: Besides the toasted zucchini & tomato plants, what sign do you see that our long run of nice fall weather is coming to an end?
