Racing back to Stateline

I am an avid racer and race fan. I started out racing at Stateline Speedway. I raced with the Tarr family there; it was a very funny situation for several years. We all had “TARRORIZED” stickers on our race cars. Then the Tarr family opened Spokane County Raceway and got it going, so my husband and I ventured out there to see what all the commotion was about.

My husband and I loved racing SCR! We now have replaced those “TARRORIZED” stickers with stickers that say “NO TARRS NO CARS.” Kind of ironic, don’t you think?

It’s such a disappointment that the oval track is now closed, and so many racers are out a place to enjoy their hobbies.

I know for a fact that many of us will go back to Stateline, and so will all of the county’s profits from gas, smokes, groceries and a lot of other things.
