Tibetan Nun To Discuss Peace @ NIC

Venerable Thubten Chodron, an American nun in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, will speak on “Buddhist Advice for a Better World” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 in Molstead Library Todd Hall at North Idaho College. Ven. Chodron has practical advice for creating a more peaceful way of living. She will impart wisdom on the state of the world, feelings of stress from the news media, and how to live a peaceful, gentler life. Ven. Chodron teaches Buddhist philosophy and meditation worldwide and has published numerous books/ North Idaho College Press Room . More here.
