District 3 R’s Swamp D’s In Funds

Republican candidates in the race for House District 3 seats are swamping their Democratic opponents in fund-raising. State Rep. Frank Henderson had a warchest of $21,373, including $6960 raised in the last reported period, in his election battle with Democrat Ron Johnson, who has raised just $30. See Henderson’s filing report here. And Johnson’s here. State Rep. Bob Nonini, who is running for retiring Sen. Jim Hammonds’ Senate seat, had a warchest of $28,075, including $7070 during the latest reporting period, in his race with Democrat Kristy Reed Johnson, who has raised $1,059. In the other House District 3 race, Ron Mendive has raised $4,243 in his race for Nonini’s former seat against Democrat David Larsen, who has raised $30. See Mendive’s filing report here .
