MikeK: Trustees’ Move ‘Outrageous’

MikeK: From my understanding of the legal process, the city can’t just purchase the land without going through a formal process wherein the land is declared surplus and without pursuing a land trade as a first step. The school district giving 30 days for a decision on something of this magnitude is utterly outrageous. The city was clearly not given enough time to credibly review such a matter.

Question: Does it seem to you that the Coeur d’Alene School Board rushed this process through? Or do you think the city had enough time to digest the possible sale and react?
