Today’s practice is the last we’ll see this week. That’s because Pac-12 men’s basketball media day is being held on Thursday in San Francisco, so we’re headed to the bay area tomorrow night. On Thursday, we’ll plan on a live chat starting early in the morning and running through the end of the podium session, a total of a few hours. We’ll have notes, quotes and the like throughout the day. … On the content front, we had this notebook in today’s newspaper , this first look at Utah, this blog post summarizing Mike Leach’s comments and this post with some news about a player committing to the WSU basketball team. … Howie Stalwick has this notebook in the Kitsap Sun. … From Utah: Officials are searching to see if a Utes kick returner set a national record last week against California. Utah is sticking with its streamlined offense.
