Boise State Knocked From Top 25

The first in-season AP poll is out and, as expected, the Boise St. Broncos are no longer in the top 25. They lost to the Michigan St. Spartans, 17-13, on Friday. The Broncos are the first team out, as they have 79 points. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who demolished Navy in Dublin, took the lone top 25 spot that was opened up over the weekend and came in at No. 22. This is the first time since Sept. 2008 that Boise State has not been ranked in the AP Poll. That covers a span of 62 weeks, according to ESPN Stats & Info /Russ Oates, SB Nation. More here.

Question: Should Boise State have front loaded patsies on their 2012 schedule, rather than Michigan State, to ensure its place in Top 25 for weeks to come?
