HMO: A Gun Could Be Handy

HMOffsuite: My next door neighbor called yesterday wanting to know if I had a gun. He said he didn’t, and I told him I didn’t either. Naturally, I asked why he needed a gun. He said a deer had made it down to his house and had a broken leg and was suffering. He called Fish and Game and they said that since it is on your property, “it’s your problem.” They said, “if you don’t have a gun, use a tire iron”. So, given the circumstances, what is one to do? (I haven’t talked to the neighbor since to find out what they decided)
