Lip service from first lady

Michelle Obama missed her calling as an actress. She gave a stellar performance at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

The screenwriter who wrote her script should be congratulated for putting exceptional words in her mouth. Off script, she says things like, “I was never proud to be an American until now” when Barack Obama’s presidential campaign started to take off. Then, at a 9/11 memorial service during the flag-folding presentation, she was recorded whispering – according to lip-readers – to her husband, “All this for a damn flag.” And Obama nodded in agreement.
