We’re two weeks into a fall political campaign — and nothing is happening. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Oh year, Barack & Mitt are going after each other, tooth and nail. But … locally … things seem Dog-Days-Of-Summer dead. Are we really going to have local and legislative elections in November? Or should we simply bypass the preliminaries and go straight to the mayoral and council races of 2013? Now that’ll be a dust-up worth buying tickets to.
