McMorris Rodgers fights for us

I have known Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers since she was first in our Statehouse. Her rapid rise to minority leader in the state was due to the fact that she studied hard, knows the issues and represents most of us in Eastern Washington. No one, let alone Cathy, will ever satisfy everyone, but I can tell you this: She works behind the scenes to get things done, and you seldom see her blow her own horn. She is honest and dedicated. The U.S. House of Representatives has 435 members in all. Try to get something done when you have factions all around the country who do not agree. Try it in your own family. It’s tough, and legislating locally or nationally is a tough deal.

I hope she continues in office until she gets sick and tired of the whole process. She is good for Eastern Washington. I know of no one else who would have the character to stand up and fight for the beliefs and values many of us believe in.
