Don’t Look Now …

… But the old green warehouse that runs along Northwest Boulevard, adjacent to Memorial Field, has been reduced to rubble by heavy equipment operators. You can now see the historic softball field from Northwest Boulevard. If memory serves me correctly, the city has plans to install landscape parking in place of the warehouse. I saw an architect’s design of the parking lot some time ago. I suspect the old fried-chicken restaurant across from The Spokesman-Review building will be the next to go.
