Romney wasn’t being diplomatic

Gov. Mitt Romney has put his foot in his mouth, criticizing the diplomatic staff of our Cairo embassy for commenting on the deliberately incendiary movie that sparked protests throughout the Middle East. Slander of another religion has never been an American value.

The presidency requires diplomacy, and the candidate, stretching to make his point, failed.
