She wants to save Medicare

I am very disturbed over the misinformation that is going around concerning Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ position on Medicare. Cathy is fighting to save Medicare. Both liberal and conservative economists agree that Medicare and Social Security cannot be sustained in their current forms. Both will run out of money. Instead of remaining silent on the subject like so many politicians, she chose to speak out and make the tough decisions.

Cathy has pledged that anyone near retirement age or currently retired will not have their benefits reduced. So seniors you can quit worrying. Cathy is focusing on the future when Gen X and their children will be accessing the system.

She is working to protect the needs of those who truly need government help. Cathy has fought to have money allocated to the state level where it can be effectively managed. Take a look at how federal agencies are doing now administering various programs; not too well in many cases. The closer the money gets to the citizens, the more involved they can be in their health care decisions.

If you don’t want Medicare killed, then vote for Cathy for Congress. She wants to fix it and save it.
