Elderberries — Quite A Bonfire
From the files of Huckleberries 25 years ago:
Bailiff Harry Reed didn’t need a fire extinguisher to snuff the blaze that broke out Thursday in a jurors’ room. The jury in the Gabourie/Dambrell murder trial helped him celebrate his 44th birthday with a cake. When lit, says Harry, the candles on the cake resembled a small bonfire.
