No gun, no shooting

I read about the shooting of that car thief and saw another example of the true downside to gun ownership. For most of us, if something like this happened, we’d have no recourse but to run out into the street, shake our fist and call the cops.

But this gentleman, frustrated about crime in this town, had a gun handy and before he could stop himself, and without thinking about it, he ran out into the street and did the unthinkable. I’m sure, if he could do it all over again, he wouldn’t, but too late, too late.

For all you gun advocates out there who like to pound your chests about ownership of those goofy things, think about incidents like this one. Think about human nature and the price we pay.
