High Noon: He bought lettuce!

Our 20-year-old son stopped by to do laundry yesterday. I inquired about his grocery status and he mentioned that he was enjoying a lot of cheese, mayo and lettuce sandwiches.My reaction? I was THRILLED he’d purchased lettuce!

I know I shouldn’t, but I do worry about how my older sons feed themselves now that they’re out of the house. They do stop by frequently for “mom meals,” but I’ve seen all the fast food bags they haul out of their vehicles when they clean out their cars. So the revelation that son #2 bought a vegetable was cheering.
