Not moving in with kids

After reading The Spokesman-Review’s March 25 feature article “Aging boomers be warned: Your children may be unable to take care of you,” I was so impressed that I read it aloud to my wife.

After a few minutes of quiet contemplation she said, “I would rather bite off my tongue and bleed to death than live with our kids.”

I need to add that we have been married 50 years and love our children dearly but, no matter what, as I have just learned, we will not be spending our final days in their home.
