The weather may not be condusive to bike riding or yard work this weekend, but hey, April showers are needed for our May flowers.

Today my husband and I are privileged to attend the 75th wedding anniversary celebration of Warren and Betty Schott. I met the Schotts when I profiled them for this story . The Schotts BOTH survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. Can you imagine being married for 75 years?

A plaque on their kitchen wall reads “Happiness is being married to your best friend,” and that pretty much sums up their marriage. May we all be as fortunate.
