Ed Task Force In Lake City Tonight

From Benewah County Democrats Facebook wall: “The State Idaho Education Task force will be in Coeur d’Alene tonight for public hearings (6:30 p.m. in Lake Coeur d’Alene Room of the North Idaho College Student Union Building). Attend or see it live on Idaho Public TV. … The Idaho Task Force for Improving Education will hold forums across Idaho this month. This group, appointed by the Idaho State Board of Education, will make recommendations for the 2014 Legislature. They need parents, teachers, business people, community leaders and students to tell them what Idaho should be doing for education. Let them know you don’t want top-down mandates such as the failed Luna Laws. Tell them Idaho’s per student educational investment ranking of 50th in the nation is not acceptable. Tell them to stop playing politics with our children’s futures.
